The team is made up of compassionate professionals with varied qualifications and lived experience, allowing the company to match each participant with staff who understand their individual needs.
Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Ballarat, VIC involves supporting clients with everyday living needs, personal care, meal preparation, and in-home assistance. You will also help with community participation, transport, and the development of life skills, always delivering care in a respectful, empathetic, and professional way.
Communication Requirement
Applicants must have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at a high level.
Key Duties
- Support clients with personal care and day-to-day living tasks.
- Assist with meal preparation and domestic support.
- Provide transport, shopping help, appointment support, and access to community activities.
- Deliver in-home care and respite support where needed.
- Encourage and assist clients in building practical life skills.
- Respond to each client’s individual needs with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications and Experience
- Background in personal care, daily living assistance, and life skills support.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work compassionately with people from different backgrounds.
- Experience providing community access, transport, shopping assistance, and appointment support.
- Ability to carry out domestic tasks, prepare meals, and provide in-home respite care.
- Qualifications in Individual Support or community services, such as Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or a Diploma of Community Services, are strongly preferred.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance.
