Support O&M IAL (OLA)

Job Overview

This role entails managing the operation and maintenance of machinery essential to copper tube manufacturing processes. The operator will oversee machines such as casting, rolling, drawing and grooving, level winders, annealing furnaces, and finishing equipment to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating various machines involved in the manufacturing of copper tubes efficiently and safely.
• Monitoring production lines to meet daily output targets, promptly detecting inconsistencies and resolving equipment malfunctions to reduce downtime.
• Conducting regular inspections on intermediate and final products ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Performing routine maintenance activities such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment operating at peak performance and prevent failures.
• Ensuring spares availability to support continuous machine operation.
• Identifying mechanical issues, diagnosing root causes, and applying corrective measures to restore functionality.
• Following strict safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and adhering to lockout/tagout protocols during maintenance.
• Maintaining detailed records of production data, maintenance logs, and quality control results as per organizational standards.
• Collaborating effectively with production teams, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve operational challenges and achieve targets.
• Engaging in continuous improvement efforts by contributing suggestions and adopting best practices to optimize production efficiency.
