Overview
Avsar Global is looking for a skilled Supply Chain Manager to enhance the efficiency of the entire supply chain process. This includes maintaining consistent product availability, optimizing inventory levels, accurate demand forecasting, and ensuring cost-effective logistics management. The role will oversee procurement activities, evaluate supplier performance, and foster collaboration with departments such as Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete supply chain cycle ensuring product availability, smooth operations, and excellent service levels.
- Create demand forecasts and inventory strategies to minimize stockouts and prevent surplus inventory.
- Handle procurement and manage suppliers alongside international logistics via air, sea, and land transportation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as inventory turnover, accuracy of stocks, freight expenditures, and supplier effectiveness.
- Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), promote cross-departmental cooperation, optimize processes, and guide the supply chain team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in forecasting, inventory management, procurement, and overseeing international logistics.
- Familiarity with high-volume inventory systems and ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical abilities, negotiation skills, communication talents, and leadership qualities.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English languages, with Arabic fluency being mandatory.
