Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in civil engineering to join our team in Pune. This professional will serve as a technical authority and mentor, ensuring superior quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across multiple projects. Our ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable, proactive, and passionate about coaching engineers and refining processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead domain expert in civil engineering, setting and upholding the highest technical and quality benchmarks.
- Critically evaluate complex designs, calculations, and project deliverables to guarantee flawless technical accuracy.
- Coach and mentor engineering teams, design tailored learning paths, and develop training materials including SOPs and technical videos.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow bottlenecks, standardizing best practices, and implementing automation where feasible.
- Engage actively with customers during discovery discussions, contribute technical insights for proposals, and translate client requirements into effective execution plans.
- Own the success of trial periods, ensuring no client losses due to skill gaps by maintaining technical integrity and adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain operational stability with periodic technical audits, collaborating closely with delivery, relationship management, and quality assurance teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of solid hands-on experience in civil engineering domains including land development, land survey, and hydrology.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring, reviewing work, and leading technical teams.
- Preferably with customer-facing experience and exposure to international engineering standards.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS.
- Familiarity with QGIS, InfoDrainage, Carlson Survey software.
