Role Overview

This position centers on strategic sourcing and procurement operations, managing the complete sourcing and negotiation process for mid-range contracts valued between $25,000 and $250,000. The role involves overseeing everyday procurement tasks and leading projects to modernize our intake-to-pay infrastructure. This opportunity suits someone passionate about negotiation and enhancing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation efforts for contracts primarily in SaaS, technology, and professional services within the specified contract value range.
• Design sourcing approaches that improve vendor choices, leverage commercial advantages, and protect the organization's profit margins.
• Project manage the rollout of the Intake-to-Pay (P2P) digital platform, collaborating closely with IT, Legal, and Finance teams for efficient implementation.
• Oversee the daily management and enhancement of financial technology and procurement tools including Navan and Brex.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze extensive datasets, detect spending trends, identify early contract renewals, and eliminate unauthorized spending.
• Prepare and organize spend data to support detailed analysis during the annual Zero-Based Budgeting process.
• Foster cross-departmental partnerships across Legal, InfoSec, Privacy, AI, Technology, and Financial Planning & Analysis to automate and ensure compliance in operational workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, ideally in fast-growing tech or healthcare companies.
• Proven ability to negotiate mid-level technology contracts covering SaaS, marketing, consulting, and professional services independently.
• Proficient in current procurement and contract lifecycle management systems; experience leading or significantly contributing to P2P software implementations is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical proficiency with advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities to produce organized, actionable spending insights.
• Excellent project management and time management skills, adept at handling multiple sourcing projects alongside significant software deployments.
• Eloquent communicator skilled at resolving cross-functional challenges and negotiating with vendors effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $85,000 to $117,000 and may include discretionary bonuses.
