About the Role
Uber Eats is revolutionizing access to food, groceries, and daily essentials by making delivery quicker, smarter, and tailored to individual preferences. Joining the US & Canada Consumer Operations team, you will be instrumental in influencing our consumer growth, retention, and re-engagement leveraging top-tier pricing and lifecycle strategies.
This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader to guide the Lifecycle & Pricing vertical. Situated at the crossroads of strategy, product innovation, and financial optimization, you will design investment plans for acquisition and re-engagement to drive consumer lifecycle improvements while collaborating with Marketplace Tech to develop scalable pricing systems.
You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams spanning Product, Strategic Finance, Marketing/CRM, and global divisions to implement impactful initiatives promoting long-term growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine strategies for lifecycle investments, optimizing budget distribution among acquisition, retention, and resurrection efforts.
- Plan and execute pricing experiments, analyze outcomes, and iterate strategies grounded in data insights.
- Collaborate with technology teams to create scalable systems that support advanced pricing and lifecycle functionalities.
- Analyze consumer trends such as activation, churn, and usage frequency to guide strategic decisions.
- Coordinate initiatives across functions and business units to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Lead and inspire the Lifecycle & Pricing team, promoting high performance and supporting career growth.
- Direct full lifecycle and acquisition strategies, managing capital allocation for effective growth and resurrection efforts.
- Build sustainable lifecycle programs that improve engagement and retention.
- Design comprehensive pricing approaches, working alongside Marketplace Tech to implement innovative pricing solutions.
- Manage and advance the Net Eater Fee (NEF) framework impacting pricing and investment directions.
- Collaborate with Mobility, Global teams, and Retail on cross-business strategies.
- Make informed investment decisions to maximize savings and enable reinvestment in high-return growth areas.
- Establish performance measurement systems to track acquisition health, pricing efficacy, and return on investment.
- Act as a crucial advisor to tech leadership on consumer growth and pricing tactics.
- Align multiple stakeholders including Product, Finance, Operations, and Marketing around shared priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years experience in strategic roles such as operations, consulting, or analytical positions.
- At least 1 year managing teams or demonstrated ability to guide and oversee junior team members' work.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, managing profit and loss, and capital allocation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative, business, or technical disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with fluency in SQL and advanced spreadsheet tools.
- Excellent business judgment capable of translating data into actionable insights.
- Effective communicator who can align senior executives and operational teams on critical priorities.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Compensation and Benefits
For roles based in Dallas, TX, the salary range is $146,000 to $162,000 annually. Eligible candidates may participate in Uber's bonus program and receive equity awards or other compensation forms. Full-time employees have access to a 401(k) plan along with various benefits.
