About the Role and Team

The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team at TikTok is pivotal in driving the company’s revenue growth by managing sales, marketing, operations, account management, agency partnerships, and marketing science functions. They are devoted to expanding TikTok’s advertising business and delivering innovative projects that shape the advertising industry globally.

We are seeking a Strategic Data Analyst to join our Client Solutions team focused on North America. This role involves developing customized, strategic solutions aligning TikTok’s ad products to client business goals through data insights and collaborative engagement with sales, product, measurement, and operations teams. The position demands analytical excellence, consultative skills, and a strong understanding of media products to unlock client growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing surveillance of core business metrics, promptly informing stakeholders about trends or anomalies requiring attention.
• Produce periodic business review reports (weekly, monthly, bi-monthly) to guide leadership decisions and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Analyze campaign and overall business data to reveal strategic insights, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Create data-driven recommendations that boost client results and refine TikTok’s market strategies.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities across products and industry verticals.
• Keep team documentation, like data mapping and support schedules, current and accurate.
• Collaborate closely with operational leaders to facilitate project execution, ensure stakeholder communication, manage timelines, and maintain accountability.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing with strong business analysis and project management skills.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools including Excel, SQL, Tableau, Thinkcell, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in querying, interpreting data, generating insights, and creating dashboards.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives from multiple data sources to support strategic business decisions.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including clear documentation and presentations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role in New York City is $108,000 to $168,000 annually, variable based on qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also include discretionary bonuses and equity awards. Benefits start from day one and include medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with matching, paid parental leave, disability insurance, life insurance, wellness programs, and paid holidays, sick leave, and personal time off. These benefits are subject to change.
