Position Overview

The role is for an experienced Storeperson to join our team on a 2:1 roster, performing hands-on duties to ensure the smooth intake, organization, and dispatch of stock and materials at a busy mining site.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept, inspect and appropriately store incoming supplies and equipment.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch materials to fulfill operational requirements.
• Keep accurate documentation of stock and maintain inventory management systems.
• Utilize materials handling machinery such as Telehandler or Loader for loading and unloading deliveries.
• Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counting procedures.
• Maintain the store area ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Communicate effectively with site staff, suppliers, and freight companies.
• Comply with all site safety protocols and reporting obligations.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse or stores role is essential.
• Previous work in a logistics or warehouse position specifically on a mining site is required.
• Proficient computer skills with familiarity using stock management and inventory software systems.
• Mandatory Telehandler operation certification.
• Additional qualifications such as IT Loader, HR, and Water Cart operation licenses are considered advantageous.
