Position Overview
The Spa Supervisor will provide guidance and support to spa employees, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences at our luxury resort location on Ummahat Island, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing scheduling, promoting services, maintaining quality and safety standards, and assisting management in various staff-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Inform team members about hotel policies, property details, event groups, and service offerings.
- Verify guest appointments by confirming names and treatments before sessions commence.
- Maintain daily appointment schedules, communicate changes promptly to providers, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Encourage sales of spa and salon treatments along with retail products.
- Order necessary products, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct inspections of workspace and tools to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Report maintenance and repair needs to engineering personnel.
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and coaching of staff; act as a positive role model.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly to supervisors.
- Uphold company policies, maintain professional appearance, respect confidentiality, and safeguard company assets.
- Greet guests warmly and attend to their service requirements, including assisting guests with disabilities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in person and on the phone; prepare accurate written documents.
- Foster good working relationships and teamwork to achieve common objectives.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement improvements or corrective actions as needed.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds as part of daily duties.
- Carry out any additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- A minimum of two years' relevant work experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications needed.
