Role overview
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Sourcing Specialist to support its Canada Talent Acquisition function from Chennai. This is a work-from-office role on a contract basis, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.
What you will do
- Help meet hiring targets by finding and shortlisting suitable candidates for open and business-critical positions.
- Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external contacts to keep recruitment priorities moving.
- Check candidate eligibility and guide applicants through registration on the TCS Careers portal.
- Review applicants with hiring managers by discussing role expectations and required qualifications.
- Find potential talent using databases, internal platforms, social media, and employee referral channels.
- Promote vacancies on career pages, job boards, and social networking platforms to reach the right candidates.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good people skills and a professional approach to stakeholder interaction.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
