Role Overview
This onsite, full-time role situated in Singapore is dedicated to the design, development, and execution of solar energy initiatives. Responsibilities encompass detailed photovoltaic (PV) and electrical system designs, creation of technical drawings and specifications, as well as conducting feasibility assessments and site evaluations. Daily duties involve system performance simulation, selecting suitable components, and working with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure installations are efficient, safe, and compliant with standards. The position also includes reviewing industry regulations, supporting quality control and commissioning, and contributing to improving solar project delivery processes. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance system performance and align with sustainability goals is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of solar power technologies and system design.
- Proficiency in PV and electrical designs applicable to both grid-tied and off-grid solar systems.
- Experience using solar design software, modeling tools, and CAD applications.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical regulations, safety codes, and permitting protocols.
- Skilled in interpreting technical documents, performing engineering calculations, and preparing detailed reports.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective project coordination with emphasis on detail and safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration on site.
- Previous exposure to solar EPC or infrastructure projects within Southeast Asia is beneficial.
