About the Role
Yona Furniture, a wooden furniture workshop in Addis Ababa, is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to strengthen its online presence. This is a full-time position that blends work at the workshop with remote tasks.
Platforms to Manage
The role covers content and community activity across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Telegram, and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and publish photo and video content around three to five times each week.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage from the workshop as well as product-focused videos.
- Develop captions in both Amharic and English.
- Monitor comments and customer inquiries, then respond promptly.
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar.
- Review account performance and propose ways to improve results.
What They Are Looking For
- Hands-on experience using CapCut, Canva, or similar content creation tools.
- Ability to take strong photos and videos using a phone.
- Clear written communication in both Amharic and English.
- Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Telegram.
- A creative, organized, and self-directed approach to work.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience.
