Role Overview
We seek a quick-thinking, personable, and inventive multitasker to embody our brand essence online and onsite. The Social Media Coordinator & Brand Ambassador will handle our digital presence, design and share engaging daily content, orchestrate marketing campaigns, and engage actively with our community. This hybrid role suits an autonomous digital marketer comfortable juggling diverse tasks from video editing to customer engagement in-store.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and post captivating content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, including posts, stories, short-form videos, and live updates.
- Create and edit attention-grabbing short videos (Reels/TikToks) and design graphics suited to platform audiences.
- Organize and maintain a social media content calendar, supporting digital marketing campaigns aimed at expanding audience reach and brand visibility.
- Source, coordinate permissions for, and manage user-generated content (UGC), including tracking contributor rewards.
- Write engaging blog posts, implement clear brand messaging, and assist with introductory SEO tasks.
- Respond promptly and courteously to direct messages, comments, and customer emails across platforms with a goal of same-day replies.
- Monitor brand mentions using tools such as Brand24, watch key hashtags, and flag important or viral content and customer issues in a timely manner.
- Engage with customers and content creators by liking, commenting, and fostering relationships to increase brand loyalty and identify partnership potentials.
- Coordinate product reviews, testimonials, and giveaway collaborations with satisfied customers.
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers by educating them on products and delivering an exceptional in-store brand experience.
- Provide basic front desk support including visitor reception, package handling, and phone routing as necessary.
- Assist customer service by managing email and chat communications efficiently during peak times using Gorgias.
Candidate Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand ambassadorship; experience within consumer products, fashion, art, or footwear customization industries is advantageous.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient with key platforms Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, including scheduling and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive), Shopify or similar content management systems, and customer support software such as Gorgias.
- Typing speed of 60 words per minute or more with high accuracy.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with a compelling and approachable tone.
- Ability to capture high-quality product and lifestyle photos and create engaging short-form video content.
- Highly organized, proactive, capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable with full-time onsite work at our Santa Fe Springs, CA location.
