Skilled Operator - Fruit Production AM Shift (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

Join Yeo Valley Organic during an exciting growth phase at our Crewkerne site as a Skilled Operator on the Fruit Production team for the AM shift, working Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm. You will be involved in preparing and cooking raw materials to produce finished fruit products and preserves that contribute to our delicious yogurts and confectionaries.

Key Duties

• Operate in a dynamic, fast-moving production environment
• Prepare ingredients accurately for fruit production processes
• Support food product manufacturing and packaging activities
• Perform hygiene and cleaning tasks as per requirements
• Complete production documentation thoroughly and precisely
• Engage in manual handling operations and operate material handling equipment (MHE)

• Strong verbal communication abilities
• Competent literacy and numeracy skills
• Capable of handling physically demanding work
• Dedicated to upholding stringent safety and cleanliness standards
• Team-oriented and fully engaged with work tasks
• Confident working independently without supervision
• Able to follow detailed instructions and production procedures

Training and Career Growth

Comprehensive training is provided to all new recruits. Experience in food manufacturing is a plus and can lead to wage progression after additional training milestones.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based onsite at our Crewkerne production facility. The role is accessible by car from nearby areas including Yeovil, Chard, Ilminster, and Taunton.
