Job Summary
The role involves supervising contractors and conducting maintenance on instrumentation, control, and automation systems while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards on-site. The candidate will also assist management with related operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contractors working on instrumentation, control, and automation systems to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Perform routine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for electrical, electronic, and automated equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Execute system inspections on instrumentation and automation devices to quickly identify and rectify technical issues.
- Compile detailed reports, maintenance checklists, and update progress records to accurately document all site activities.
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols on-site by monitoring contractor practices around electronic and automated systems.
- Support management with various ad-hoc tasks connected to instrumentation, control, automation, and IT system operations.
- Travel between multiple locations as necessary to supervise projects and maintenance functions.
- Adapt to outdoor and variable site conditions to effectively carry out site inspections.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of Higher NITEC qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- At least one year of relevant experience in instrumentation, control, automation, or electrical engineering sectors.
- Fresh graduates with a Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering and solid technical knowledge are also welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are desirable.
Additional Information
- Working days are Monday to Friday with full-time daytime working hours.
- The position requires immediate joining.
