Role Overview

We are looking for a Site Technician to join our Abu Dhabi team, providing crucial support for our projects and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite training for tracker mockups during photovoltaic project implementation and startup phases.
• Coordinate various disciplines and tasks on-site, managing personnel involved in mechanical installation, commissioning, quality control, administration, and procurement of necessary tools and materials.
• Monitor and report daily and weekly production progress, addressing any deviations related to schedule or costs promptly.
• Prepare technical reports connected to assigned disciplines and responsibilities as required.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and laws.
• Participate in regular meetings with clients and subcontractors to discuss project progress and issues.
• Carry out technical verifications of work under Trina's responsibility.
• Perform manipulations of electromechanical components on-site to enable swift corrective actions where feasible.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree or background in engineering or related fields, ideally with experience in the photovoltaic industry.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in the construction of photovoltaic projects.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in English, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer literacy and operation skills.
