Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite field service and workshop repairs including handling breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installation, and commissioning procedures.
• Perform workshop activities such as dismantling, assembling, cleaning parts, and operating precision equipment while adhering to safety and health regulations aligned with site-specific conditions.
• Plan and coordinate site tasks by preparing and managing all required materials, equipment, and documentation following contractual obligations.
• Inspect and inventory equipment thoroughly to identify maintenance needs, perform troubleshooting and repairs, and suggest improvements to enhance equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
• Compile detailed technical and work reports for customer approval and sign-off.
• Fulfill any necessary regulatory requirements by obtaining relevant permits or attending required training sessions prior to commencing work.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of an NITEC certificate or 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working with turbochargers on marine vessels, or as a mechanical or diesel fitter.
• Familiarity with turbocharging technology is advantageous.
