Service Advisor

Job Overview

The Service Advisor is responsible for welcoming customers, accurately identifying and confirming their vehicle service needs, obtaining necessary approvals, and promoting additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales within the company's established policies.

Key Daily Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational tasks to maintain seamless workflow.
• Identify and suggest improvements to business processes focusing on international best practices, cost efficiency, and productivity enhancement.
• Assist in generating timely, accurate service sales reports that comply with company standards.
• Engage with customers to address their concerns, understand service requirements, and provide service recommendations.
• Estimate service costs and completion times, explain details to customers, and obtain formal approval before proceeding.
• Create job cards for vehicles, acquire necessary authorizations, and dispatch technicians accordingly.
• Monitor service progress closely, coordinating with technicians to ensure timely completion as promised to customers.
• Oversee technician activities to guarantee first-time quality service.
• Inspect completed services to confirm proper execution and accurate pricing.
• Maintain and update service tracking sheets, notifying customers about their vehicles’ status and expected pickup times.
• Recognize repeat customers, prioritize their service needs, and inform the service manager to ensure attentive care.
• Sell appropriate and additional critical vehicle services to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least two years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Strong proficiency in English communication and writing skills.
• Educational background of high school completion, preferably supplemented by a Technical Diploma.
