Role Overview

The Senior Security Officer (SSO) in Singapore will serve as the central point for all security-related operations and incident management across selected Dyson sites in Singapore. This role demands active monitoring of security threats impacting both manufacturing and non-manufacturing facilities. Coordination with broader Dyson Group Security teams—including Security Training, Insider Risk, Information Security, Profit Protection, and Technical Security—is also a key function.

The incumbent will report directly to the Assistant Security Manager based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere rigorously to established security protocols, plans, and standard operating procedures.
  • Enforce stringent access control procedures and manage pass exchanges alongside access card administration.
  • Conduct comprehensive surveillance through patrolling and CCTV monitoring within the premises.
  • Ensure that all personnel on site are authorized and legitimate.
  • Respond promptly and manage incidents, communicating timely reports to security leadership.
  • Identify and report malfunctions of site facilities or equipment, such as turnstiles and lighting fixtures, to appropriate teams.
  • Support fire safety management activities during drills and real events.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned and greet employees and guests with professionalism.
  • Handle employee feedback and complaints courteously and professionally.
  • Maintain current knowledge to assist employees and guests with directions, services, and facility information as needed.
