Role Overview
Penspen is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a PMC assignment in the UAE. This role focuses on managing the financial, contractual, and procurement elements of major oil, gas, and energy projects, with the aim of keeping delivery on schedule and within budget.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee project cost control to support timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Handle tendering activities and contract administration across complex project packages.
- Manage commercial processes for large-scale oil, gas, and energy developments.
- Support procurement-related work and ensure commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualification
An engineering degree in any discipline from a recognised university is required.
Experience and Skills
- At least 10 years of overall experience, including more than 5 years in oil and gas EPC projects in a similar position.
- Proven background in contract development and cost management in oil and gas or energy environments.
- Hands-on experience with interim valuations, variations, cost reporting, subcontract administration, and resolution of commercial disputes.
- Practical working knowledge of SAP.
