About the Role

We invite skilled professionals to express interest in joining Allianz Australia as a Senior Property Assessor across multiple locations with a hybrid working arrangement. Successful candidates will become part of a respected global insurance and asset management organization committed to customer security and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver property claims outcomes promptly that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Engage with claimants, repairers, and internal and external parties to facilitate timely and effective decision-making on claims.
• Evaluate indemnity, liability, costs, and validate the building and remediation scopes of claims.
• Assess remediation actions and safety considerations alongside associated costs.
• Examine reports on damage causes including geotechnical and structural engineering evaluations.
• Identify repair defects and non-compliance issues using Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.

Candidate Profile

• Possess Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor accreditation from ANZIIF.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in property assessment and customer service.
• Hold thorough technical knowledge of insurance principles and loss practices.
• Capable of effective planning, prioritizing, and managing competing tasks and resources.
• Proficient with assessment systems, databases, communication tools, and reporting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
