Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and aviation terminal projects, primarily based in Dublin. This leadership role involves managing commercial/building-focused projects for four days onsite with one day remote weekly. The successful candidate will guide the full project lifecycle and support team growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct coordination across all project stages, ensuring interfaces are managed effectively.
  • Maintain and update the Responsible/Accountable/Consulted/Informed task tracker.
  • Coordinate with design consultants and external service providers alongside technical teams.
  • Schedule and lead design review meetings; issue design acceptance to contractors.
  • Communicate design changes to impacted project team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide monthly progress reports covering all project phases, including construction.
  • Manage and update the project risk register during monthly progress meetings.
  • Propose improvements for project management procedures, templates, and products.
  • Implement performance management techniques and oversee the change control process.
  • Facilitate information flow between project team and client through consistent meetings and communications.
  • Review and approve programme submissions per NEC contract framework.
  • Promote mutual trust and cooperation, reflecting ECC contract duties.
  • Act as Project Manager per contracting entity’s contract, maintaining close client engagement.
  • Manage compensation events ensuring fair contractor compensation for entity-initiated changes.
  • Ensure timely notification of compensation events by contractors.
  • Assess payments after each contract assessment interval.

Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc or MSc degree in Project Management or a related construction/engineering discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contract suites.
  • Professional accreditation (preferably Chartered status with RICS, APM, CIOB, or equivalent).
