Senior Procurement Officer - Spare Parts

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer who specializes in sourcing spare parts for industrial applications. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial processes by managing the strategic and operational aspects of spare parts procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of the entire procurement process including requests for quotations (RFQs), negotiating with suppliers, overseeing orders, and monitoring deliveries.
• Formulate effective sourcing strategies to maintain availability, high quality, and cost efficiency of critical spare parts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, maintenance, finance, and logistics to ensure procurement objectives are aligned with operational requirements.
• Oversee vendor management by assessing performance, ensuring compliance, and nurturing long-term supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with SAP systems, organizational policies, Incoterms, and relevant import/export regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Possess between 5 to 7 or more years of professional experience in technical procurement with emphasis on industrial spare parts.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business administration. A CIPS certification is advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong negotiation capabilities and experience with international sourcing.
• Proficient in SAP software and knowledgeable of trade compliance and letters of credit.
• Exhibit robust analytical skills to interpret market trends and enhance procurement effectiveness.
