Senior Manager – Development

Role Overview

The Senior Manager – Development will oversee the planning and progression of Cenomi's retail property projects from initial concept through to pre-construction phases, ensuring each development meets the firm's commercial, operational, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily development activities of assigned retail projects including planning, design, securing approvals, and pre-construction efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, relevant authorities, and stakeholders to ensure projects advance according to schedule.
• Oversee the design development phase, guaranteeing solutions are commercially sound, operationally practical, and consistent with Cenomi's standards.
• Assist with feasibility assessments, formulate development strategies, establish project budgets, and contribute to business case preparations.
• Track project progress, identify key risks, monitor approval processes, and ensure critical milestones are met, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
• Promote coordination across departments such as Development, Leasing, Asset Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Champion value engineering initiatives and strive for continuous enhancements throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience spanning 7 to 10 years in retail real estate development or development management is expected for the Senior Manager level.
• In-depth knowledge of development processes, design oversight, stakeholder collaboration, and making commercially sound decisions.
