About the Role
CapitexAI, a leader in foundational model development, is seeking experienced credit professionals to lend their expertise for a significant research project. This contract position offers flexible work hours from remote locations and competitive pay rates ranging from $100 to $130 per hour, requiring a minimum commitment of 10 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize institutional-level credit assessment skills to perform financial modeling, covenant evaluation, and liquidity analysis for complex credit cases, supporting model training.
- Assess credit rating approaches, analyze loan and credit agreement documentation to deliver expert-grade credit evaluations.
- Conduct in-depth distressed credit analysis including liquidation strategies, recovery waterfall modeling, and restructuring alternatives.
- Evaluate structured credit products and securitization frameworks with the judgment expected from leading credit institutions.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality independent work, with performance influencing selection for future projects.
Core Qualifications
- Proven experience in credit roles within hedge funds, private credit platforms, leveraged finance, distressed debt funds, or restructuring advisory firms.
- Strong expertise in credit and financial modeling techniques such as LBO analysis, debt capacity studies, or cash flow projections.
- Direct experience analyzing covenants in syndicated loan agreements and private credit documents.
- Working familiarity with at least one specialty: securitization/structured credit, distressed liquidation, or credit rating systems.
- Ability to work autonomously for at least 10 hours weekly as an independent contractor with reliable delivery.
- Authorized to work independently without need for H-1B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
Additional Advantages
- Experience across varied credit segments including performing/non-performing credits or corporate and structured credit enhances contribution value.
- Background in research, report writing, or analytical annotation positively impacts project deliverables.
