Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Housekeeping and Rooms Division management to enhance butler services, ensuring personalized and anticipatory guest experiences that surpass expectations.
• Mentor and lead butler staff, ensuring thorough knowledge of bespoke in-suite services, advanced room technology, and luxury amenities while uplifting team performance continually.
• Conduct detailed inspections of butler pantries, vacant suites, and occupied rooms, coordinating effectively with Front Office and Food & Beverage for seamless handling of complex guest requests.
• Lead a multicultural team maintaining impeccable Dorchester Collection service standards across all guest touchpoints.
• Warmly receive and serve local and international guests, acting as their single point of contact from before arrival through departure, managing bespoke itineraries and arrangements.
• Resolutely handle guests’ sophisticated concerns with discretion and emotional intelligence, guaranteeing timely and flawless resolution.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and an excellent team player with strong interpersonal capabilities facilitating interdepartmental collaboration.
• Committed, dynamic, guest-centric, delivering extraordinary service and creative guest solutions.
• Familiar with Property Management Systems, payroll, procurement processes, and proficient in computer applications.
• Understanding of budget management, profit and loss statements, and financial oversight pertinent to department operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English, crucial for internal coordination and guest interactions.
• Has a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star hotel environment; pre-opening and Middle East experience are advantageous.
• Must hold certification as a professional butler.
