Position Overview
Laxmi Trading & Company is looking for a capable Senior Accountant to become part of our proactive finance team. The candidate should bring at least three years of hands-on accounting experience with a firm grasp of taxation and GST regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting activities.
- Prepare and submit GST returns timely and accurately.
- Utilize Tally Prime software to maintain accounting records and process transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis and generate detailed reports.
- Ensure accounting practices adhere to prevailing standards and legal requirements.
- Support the development of financial statements as required.
- Manage tax-related responsibilities and correspond with relevant tax authorities when necessary.
- Maintain thorough and precise financial documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of taxation and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Proficient in GST filing processes and use of Tally Prime accounting software.
- Basic computer literacy with skills in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication capabilities.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati languages.
