Overview
This role is a remote, contract opportunity for W2 candidates to act as Scrum Master within the ServiceNow environment. The primary responsibility is facilitating Scrum ceremonies and overseeing Agile practices for the CMDB Data Completeness project concerning business applications. The contract duration is for at least six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum events including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as part of enhancing the CMDB data for business applications.
- Identify and resolve impediments affecting team progress.
- Encourage continuous improvement through feedback and retrospectives.
- Report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and regularly.
- Ensure compliance with Scrum and Agile methodologies throughout the team.
Project Objectives
- Resolve data gaps for active business applications in the CMDB, focusing on 26 critical attributes.
- Collaborate with business application stakeholders to fill missing attribute data.
- Update the CMDB Health dashboard to monitor application health via customized rules based on application lifecycle status.
- Implement planned Choice Value changes for business application attributes and update existing data accordingly.
- Revise ServiceNow Knowledge Articles to align with new rules from Choice Value changes and develop accessible training materials explaining attribute settings.
- Create an APM Dashboard in ServiceNow for tracking business application ticket statuses including registration, update, ownership updates, retirement, and PRR tickets.
- Identify business applications that no longer meet definitions, validate retirements with owners, and reclassify or retire those entries appropriately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Substantial experience working with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficient problem-solving and analytical aptitude.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Scrum processes.
Additional Information
This W2 position requires candidates to have prior contractual availability for a duration of six months or more. Agile adherence and effective team facilitation are crucial for success in this role.
