Scrum Master

Role overview

Olik Global is looking for an accomplished Scrum Master to support technology delivery for enterprise Wealth Management platforms. This position sits within a banking environment and is suited to someone who brings deep Agile expertise, strong Scrum practices, and hands-on experience in financial services. The role requires someone who can guide cross-functional teams, keep delivery moving, and help teams perform at a high level in a fast-moving setting.

What you will do

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams and help ensure sprints are planned and delivered successfully.
• Run Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and better ways of working to increase maturity and productivity.
• Spot blockers, work through them, and clear impediments so the team can meet sprint commitments.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to keep priorities and goals aligned.
• Monitor sprint health, velocity, burndown trends, and delivery progress through Agile reporting tools.
• Encourage continuous improvement by driving retrospectives and turning feedback into practical process changes.
• Support release planning and manage dependencies across teams.
• Help ensure delivery follows enterprise Agile standards, governance requirements, and established processes.
• Build and maintain a transparent, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development settings.
• Strong background supporting technology initiatives in Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Practical experience using Agile platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proven capability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively with distributed teams.
• Solid understanding of Agile measurements, sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.
• Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or comparable Agile credentials.
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Brokerage, or Capital Markets platforms is an advantage.
• Experience supporting geographically dispersed or hybrid Agile teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale is beneficial.
