Sales Engineer - Qatar

Role Overview

SunPowerGen is seeking a driven and seasoned Sales Engineer to support its Qatar operations. The position suits someone who can manage customer relationships, grow business in the industrial segment, and close sales effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with both existing clients and prospective customers.
• Market and sell pneumatic equipment, industrial spare parts, and industrial automation solutions.
• Spot new business opportunities and work toward meeting assigned sales goals.
• Visit customers regularly to identify needs and convert them into qualified sales leads.
• Track enquiries, draft quotations, and negotiate purchase orders.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are completed on time and customers remain satisfied.
• Keep an eye on market movements, client demand, and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate sales documentation, including reports and records of customer communication and active opportunities.

Experience Requirements

• Applicants should have 2 to 5 years of local sales experience in Qatar.
• Hands-on experience selling pneumatic products, industrial spare parts, or industrial automation products is required.
• Strong familiarity with Qatar’s industrial client base, market segments, and overall business landscape is expected.
• The role calls for excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.
• A valid Qatar driving licence is mandatory.

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Preferred Candidate

The right applicant will be self-driven, focused on targets, technically capable, and able to independently handle customers and business development tasks in the Qatar market.
