About Canto and Role Overview
Join Canto in Cork City as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focusing on the UK and Ireland markets. Canto is a global leader in digital asset management with over 4,000 customers worldwide. As part of the Cork team, your role will involve creating outbound sales pipelines, engaging prospects, and setting meetings for Account Executives. This position suits individuals with approximately one year of SDR experience seeking a structured environment to grow towards an Account Executive role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research target accounts in the UK and Ireland to develop a robust outbound pipeline.
- Run personalized outreach campaigns using email, phone, and LinkedIn to schedule qualified discovery calls.
- Gain deep understanding of your territory’s verticals and buyer personas.
- Utilize sales technologies including Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo to manage activities and maintain accurate data.
- Incorporate AI tools to enhance prospecting research and message personalization.
- Use data and feedback for continuous improvement with support from regular coaching and sales enablement resources.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of SDR or outbound sales experience in a B2B SaaS setting.
- Experience or familiarity selling within UK and/or Irish markets.
- Proven consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and outbound sales platforms such as Outreach, LinkedIn, or ZoomInfo.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messages and adjust calls.
- Self-motivated, coachable, curious, and intent on career development in sales.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with two days onsite at the Cork office.
