Role Overview
Located in Dublin, Stena Line seeks a Revenue Manager specializing as a Trade Optimiser for the Irish Sea South business region, managing key routes from Dublin and Rosslare. This role involves analytical leadership to enhance revenue streams across freight and travel sectors through forecasting, pricing adjustments, and capacity management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise revenues for assigned routes by analysing market demand, forecasting, and setting fares for freight and travel services.
- Utilise advanced revenue management systems to optimise yield and distribution of capacity.
- Formulate both short-term and long-term strategies aimed at revenue enhancement.
- Allocate capacity efficiently between freight and passenger travel sectors.
- Continuously monitor booking patterns, revenue flows, competitor pricing, market developments, and changes in customer mix.
- Assess freight customer demand on granular levels and allocate capacity accordingly.
- Set daily price points per departure to optimise booking ratios versus budget expectations.
- Administer daily management of ship capacities including passenger cabins, car and freight decks, and certificate requirements.
- Generate and analyse statistics to highlight challenges, opportunities, and necessary actions.
- Contribute to scheduling and timetable planning.
- Gather and analyse operational data from Stena Line’s handling systems.
Experience and Qualifications
- A university degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
- Prior experience in Revenue Management or Yield Management positions.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

The candidate should exhibit strong analytical capability, confident decision-making skills, and effective communication of strategic plans internally. The position may require working outside conventional office hours, including early mornings and late evenings, scheduled on a rotational basis.
