Role Responsibilities

  • Support the merchandise assortment strategy for all retail stores.
  • Devise accurate buying plans aligned with sales objectives for assigned product categories.
  • Establish Average Retail Price (ARP) targets and generate option plans through in-depth analysis.
  • Develop stock-to-sale plans for seasons, including End of Month (EOM) and Beginning of Month (BOM) calculations and Open-to-Buy (OTB) assessments.
  • Contribute to setting monthly sales targets by dissecting them into product category units and tracking target versus achievement.
  • Prepare merchandise plan reports and assess product performance at detailed levels.
  • Oversee inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock coverage, ensuring dormancy and pullback remain within defined limits.
  • Analyze and report weekly sell-through data and photo sell-through statistics.
  • Act as a key planner for stock and sales strategies, including product category dispatch plans and allocation for each store based on size-specific evaluations.
  • Monitor actual dispatches against plans and manage allocation accordingly.
  • Gather market intelligence on new product launches, competitor initiatives, and promotional schemes.
  • Map competitive activity and engage in training related to merchandise, product knowledge, and visual merchandising.
  • Track core business contributions by enhancing category shares of total Lifestyle Brands business and recommending new design introductions.
  • Assist in creating retail design briefs by developing option grids and incorporating learnings from previous seasons.
  • Plan and execute Integrated Go To Market (IGTM) strategies collaboratively with visual merchandising and design teams, including dressing key stores and rolling out store-wide implementations.
  • Coordinate closely with retail planners in space planning efforts to optimize returns from allocated retail spaces.
