Resident Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Direct and support a team of Technical Supervisors at site so construction activities are carried out according to the project’s specifications, regulatory conditions, and client standards.
• Work under the guidance of the C&S Qualified Person (QP) and Project Manager, providing updates on site progress, workmanship quality, safety performance, and technical issues.
• Engage with authorities, consultants, contractors, and other relevant parties to solve site challenges and keep the project moving toward completion on schedule.
• Check and monitor structural works to confirm compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality expectations, and legal requirements.
• Spot any non-compliant work, record it properly, and ensure contractors complete the necessary corrective actions promptly.
• Manage and align Civil & Structural (C&S), Architectural, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) supervision activities to support efficient site execution.
• Track site progress, workmanship, and construction quality while making sure work remains aligned with programme timelines and safety rules.
• Offer technical direction and leadership to site supervisors so supervision standards and overall project delivery remain high.
