Role summary
This full-time Research and Development Manager position is responsible for driving innovation across Japture’s AI-led learning products and future-focused solutions. The role is hybrid, based in Patna, and includes the option to work from home for part of the schedule.
What you will do
You will lead R&D efforts that improve Japture’s learning offerings, from concept development through testing and refinement. The job involves carrying out market and education research, turning insights into new programs, tools, and features, and coordinating multiple stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable outcomes.
In addition, you will manage cross-functional project teams, define priorities and timelines, review prototypes, collect feedback from learners and partners, and continually improve the platform based on results and user needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring strong capability in research and development, along with the ability to plan, run, and assess innovative initiatives. Experience in education technology, AI, or skills development will be an advantage.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Management, or a related discipline is expected. The role also calls for solid analytical thinking, sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and confidence in sharing research findings with different audiences.
Working style
This position requires the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid setup in Patna, balancing in-person teamwork with remote work.
