About the Role
Become a vital part of the team that keeps vehicles on the road in the Northern Ireland region as a Roadside Technician. This position involves diagnosing and fixing a wide range of vehicle issues including mechanical repairs, electrical faults, battery replacements, and tyre changes. Operate from your own driveway with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours weekly, plus optional overtime. You'll be fully equipped from day one with your own service van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert roadside mechanical repairs and diagnostics to vehicles in need across Northern Ireland.
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and deliver efficient emergency assistance on location.
- Handle a variety of technical challenges, from simple battery replacements to complex fault-finding procedures.
- Deliver outstanding member-centered customer service during every interaction.
- Operate independently and make timely decisions to resolve roadside issues effectively.
Requirements
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (or recognized equivalent).
- Possess a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in vehicle technical, electrical, and diagnostic work.
- Maintain a full valid UK driving licence.
- Exhibit a customer-focused demeanor and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
