Overview
The Regional Manager position at Zoomlion West Africa requires leading sales growth efforts across Ghana by engaging customers, generating leads, and solidifying client partnerships. The role also involves supporting marketing initiatives and contributing to business development within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, prospect, qualify, and generate new leads through managing subordinates to support different product lines or business units.
- Conduct telephone and in-person outreach to potential clients to promote Zoomlion's products and services.
- Build and nurture relationships with both existing and new customers to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Regularly update customer interaction and sales data within the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed sales pipeline and recovery targets.
- Track competitors, product innovations, and market trends to better understand customer needs and positioning.
- Submit weekly performance and activity reports to direct management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or closely related fields.
- Professional experience: At least eight years in sales and marketing roles.
- Preferred prior experience in sectors like construction, heavy machinery, or automobile sales is advantageous.
- Expertise in sales negotiation and closing deals.
- Strong capabilities in customer relationship management and market analysis.
- Skilled in lead generation, managing sales pipelines, and delivering presentations or training.
- Excellent teamwork and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software.
