Role Overview
Our client seeks a Recruitment Specialist to become part of their expanding HR department in Malta. This position suits organised and proactive professionals eager to advance their recruitment career in a fast-moving and dynamic company setting. Collaborating closely with hiring managers, the successful candidate will be central in attracting, evaluating, and hiring outstanding talent while ensuring a superior candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment cycle, filling roles efficiently with suitable candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine workforce needs and create candidate profiles.
- Develop, refine, and publish compelling job descriptions and adverts on relevant platforms.
- Source applicants via LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, networking, social media, and other channels.
- Screen and interview applicants, assess their fit, and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers.
- Arrange and manage interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive recruitment experience.
- Provide support and guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment stages, facilitating prompt feedback and hiring decisions.
- Draft employment offers and manage pre-employment formalities before onboarding.
- Maintain comprehensive recruitment documentation, databases, and vacancy tracking systems.
- Generate recruitment reports tracking metrics like time-to-fill, sourcing success, activity levels, and hiring expenses.
- Assist employer branding efforts and proactively seek ways to attract quality candidates.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment efficiency and reduce dependency on external agencies.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies, employment laws, GDPR, and best practices.
- Handle candidate data and recruitment materials with utmost confidentiality.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or related HR functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Proficient in candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, online job boards, and recruitment technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
- Excellent organisation and time management to handle multiple openings simultaneously.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with careful attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of recruitment best practices, labour laws, and GDPR.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent English communication; Maltese language skills considered advantageous.
