Position Overview
Ambrose University is actively looking for a dedicated Recruitment & Admissions Advisor who is enthusiastic about fostering strong connections and supporting prospective students through crucial educational choices. This role focuses on helping students successfully enroll in the Bachelor of Education program while promoting the university's values and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage potential students by establishing initial contact, identifying challenges to their enrollment, and presenting effective solutions.
- Generate and cultivate leads for applicants, guiding them until they become registered students in both full-time and blended Bachelor of Education cohorts.
- Provide detailed advising on the Education program by offering information on admissions, financial aid, and academic offerings.
- Maintain personalized communication with inquiries, applicants, registrants, and current students to maximize enrollment conversions.
- Participate actively in recruitment activities targeting future students, such as identifying and addressing barriers for Educational Assistants.
- Coordinate and host events including Education Information Sessions, Open Houses, New Student Orientations, Graduation, and Program Days to enhance recruitment and student engagement.
- Ensure annual enrollment targets for both full-time and part-time cohorts are successfully achieved.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of an undergraduate degree, ideally from Ambrose University.
- One to two years of relevant work experience, especially in customer service roles.
Required Skills
- Quick acquisition and retention of comprehensive knowledge about undergraduate and graduate academic programs.
- Proficiency with information technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Jenzabar, alongside strong administrative capabilities.
- Ability to design and deliver presentations as requested by management.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects including travel and event planning.
- Strong attention to detail with the aptitude to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and eligibility to rent vehicles.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as part of job duties.
