Job Overview

Ztek Consulting is seeking a meticulous QA Functional / Manual Tester to be part of their Quality Assurance team in Denver, CO. This role involves verifying software applications via functional and manual testing to ensure deliverables align with business requirements and quality benchmarks prior to launch. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, sharp attention to detail, and experience in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents thoroughly.
• Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases to cover all testing needs.
• Conduct various manual tests including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Confirm that application features function according to business needs.
• Log, prioritize, and monitor software defects utilizing defect tracking tools.
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and fellow QA team members.
• Participate actively in requirement reviews and sprint planning activities.
• Perform regression testing for new software releases and production patches.
• Revalidate bug fixes through re-testing procedures.
• Compile and disseminate test execution reports and quality metrics updates.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes when necessary.
• Ensure that software releases consistently meet defined quality standards.
