Role overview
BCforward is looking for a QA Tester for a short-term assignment in Toronto, ON M1R 3B1. The engagement is for 2 months and may be extended depending on project needs. This is an immediate opening.
Compensation
The pay rate is CAD 48 to CAD 50 per hour.
What you will do
- Review user stories and translate requirements into testable scenarios.
- Prepare detailed test cases based on acceptance criteria.
- Carry out different kinds of testing for both web and mobile applications.
- Work with developers to track down, communicate, and help close defects.
Required experience
The role calls for experience working in an Agile delivery environment, along with hands-on use of Jira. You should also be familiar with AODA testing and browser-based testing.
Nice to have
Prior exposure to election-related business processes is preferred but not mandatory.
Personal strengths
The ideal candidate learns quickly and approaches problems with strong logic and clear reasoning.

This is a contract position with an immediate need.
