Job Overview
We are seeking a QA Tester based in Fairfield, Ohio for a contract-to-hire role offering a remote work setup. The compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually with a 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out testing procedures to validate the quality and functionality of IT systems and software applications.
- Work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and business analysts to define testing needs and develop appropriate test cases.
- Run test cases, record any defects found, and confirm that defects have been corrected prior to deployment.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes to improve software quality continuously.
- Engage in Agile and Scrum ceremonies to support team efforts and ensure high-quality software releases.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in QA testing within a technology-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of testing tools, methods, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with SQL database queries and API testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
- Proficient in interpreting technical documentation and specifications.
