Job Overview
This role involves developing and maintaining software applications primarily using Python, within Linux environments. The candidate will work on troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and collaborating with diverse teams to build effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications.
- Operate in Linux/Unix development and production setups.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Produce clean, scalable, and well-structured code.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient hands-on experience in Python programming.
- Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing application performance.
- Competence in Shell scripting and using version control tools such as Git.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience programming in C++.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
