About the Role
The position requires a minimum of 5 years' purchasing experience within a manufacturing setting. The candidate will be responsible for establishing and overseeing procedures that guarantee efficient purchasing workflows covering supply chain management, procurement, raw material handling, inventory control, receipt processes, vendor relations, and performance measurement using scorecards. This role demands a visionary individual who can enhance and evolve the purchasing operations in a well-established organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure smooth and effective purchasing workflows.
- Oversee supply chain activities, purchasing operations, raw material management, inventory control, and receiving processes.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with vendors.
- Design and use vendor scorecards to monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
- Drive innovation and improvements in purchasing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in purchasing roles.
- Background working in a manufacturing environment.
