The company develops its own web platforms and internal tools to support its ventures.

Role Overview

The company is seeking a Public Relations Officer to oversee and enhance its public image. This role involves managing media interactions, social media accounts, and maintaining brand reputation across all business segments. The incumbent will serve as a key communicator, fostering trust among the press, partners, and the wider public.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies across Spirezen’s multiple business verticals.
Oversee daily social media activities, including content posting, community engagement, and responsive communication on various platforms.
Establish and nurture connections with media representatives, journalists, and relevant influencers.
Create press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials for company launches, events, and official communications.
Organize PR activities and media representation for events like MUN conferences and workshops.
Monitor and analyze brand mentions and online reputation to identify and mitigate potential reputational risks.
Collaborate with content and design teams to maintain a unified and consistent message in all public communications.
Measure and report on social media and PR campaign performance including reach, sentiment analysis, and audience engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
Professional and confident demeanor when representing the company externally.
Practical experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
Knowledge of media outreach and public relations tactics.
Basic abilities in content creation such as writing captions, short press releases, and talking points.
Event management experience is advantageous.

Preferred Attributes

Existing connections with media or press contacts in Tamil Nadu and Kerala regions.
Experience collaborating with influencers or brand ambassadors.
Previous PR roles within education, consulting, or small and medium enterprise/business-to-business sectors.
Familiarity with crisis communication management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

1 to 2 or more years of experience in public relations, communications, or social media management with a demonstrated portfolio of campaigns, press interactions, or social media achievements being preferable.

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (Remote work option available)
Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM IST
