Role overview
This remote contract opportunity is centered on helping a B2B SaaS company expand into the Italian trades market. The person in this role will shape a focused public relations approach that strengthens brand visibility and credibility in Italy, while working closely with communications stakeholders to make the company’s message relevant to local audiences and support growth in one of Europe’s largest industries.
What you will do
- Create and run a PR plan specifically designed for the Italian market around a B2B SaaS offering.
- Build relationships with appropriate Italian media outlets, journalists, and industry voices.
- Write press materials, customer success stories, and expert commentary content that clearly communicates the company’s value.
- Arrange interviews, media sessions, and speaking slots for company spokespeople.
- Track press coverage and share regular updates on the performance of PR initiatives.
- Provide guidance on Italian market dynamics, communication norms, and sector-specific best practices for the trades space.
- Work with internal teams to keep messaging aligned across all channels.
Skills and experience needed
- Hands-on PR experience with B2B SaaS businesses, including work on market-entry campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of Italy’s business environment, media landscape, and cultural expectations.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Italian and English.
- Ability to turn technical and commercial ideas into clear, engaging stories for different audiences.
- A solid network of media connections in Italy, especially across trades and technology.
- Independent, strategic working style suited to a remote setup.
- Comfort using digital PR tools, analytics, and reporting software.
