Job Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-focused manner, maintaining a positive attitude throughout.
• Promote a positive workplace by handling any conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Adhere to scheduled attendance requirements, which may vary depending on the property’s operational needs.
• Maintain a neat professional appearance, including wearing proper uniform and name tag during working hours.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all common areas including lobby, meeting rooms, restrooms, hallways, restaurants, banquet halls, gyms, etc.
• Perform daily tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors frequently, polishing furniture and fixtures, and emptying trash and ashtrays.
• Conduct routine inspections of floors and elevator landings to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist guests navigating public spaces when needed.
• Promptly and effectively address any guest complaints or issues.
• Demonstrate initiative by anticipating the needs of guests and fellow team members.
• Maintain solid knowledge of hotel amenities, operating hours, dining options, retail outlets, and function rooms.
• Comply fully with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment, reporting any safety concerns immediately to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Preferred: at least one year of housekeeping experience within the hospitality sector.
• Ability to comprehend and follow various written, spoken, or scheduled instructions.
• Proficient English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, to effectively interact with guests and coworkers.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Strong team player who can also work autonomously with minimal supervision.
