Job Overview

The Proposal Manager will spearhead the comprehensive management of technical and commercial proposal preparation for EPC, infrastructure, industrial, and construction initiatives. This pivotal role encompasses the entire tendering lifecycle including estimation, risk evaluation, team coordination, and strategy formulation to secure new contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenders from receipt of bid invitations to final proposal submission, ensuring adherence to client specifications and corporate procedures.
  • Review invitation to tender documents, requests for proposals or quotations, and contract requirements thoroughly.
  • Formulate bid plans, establish submission timelines, and devise winning strategies.
  • Simultaneously handle multiple tender processes while complying with strict deadlines.
  • Lead and verify quantity take-offs and cost estimations, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, logistics, and overheads.
  • Steer pricing approaches to maintain competitive commercial positioning.
  • Examine productivity standards, resource deployment, and construction methods.
  • Perform benchmarking and cost analyses to enhance competitiveness.
  • Collaborate across engineering, procurement, construction, planning, commercial, finance, and project control departments to develop comprehensive technical proposals including methodologies, staffing, organizational structures, and schedules.
