Position Overview

The role of Project Manager involves leading and overseeing projects from their inception through to completion, ensuring all key milestones, quality benchmarks, and defined goals are achieved effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and manage projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Oversee budget monitoring, including target versus actual spending, managing change orders, and maintaining financial transparency and profitability.
Coordinate planning related to timelines, resource capacity, and allocation in collaboration with functional department leaders.
Manage communication with customers and coordinate between internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and satisfaction.
Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate interface alignment, support evaluations, and oversee employee development.
Ensure compliance with processes and safety regulations; actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and portfolio development.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. They must possess at least three to five years of project or account management experience within a technical equipment manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated ability in planning, organization, and solving complex problems while juggling multiple projects amid changing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate project teams and meet corporate objectives.
A customer-focused approach in decision-making, emphasizing client needs and concerns.
Experience in tracking and reporting on project finances and budget management.
Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of machine design to supervise the timely development of complex machinery.
Competence in identifying, communicating, and managing technical, budgetary, and scheduling risks to ensure project success.
Capability to sustain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to encourage collaboration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and familiarity with 3D design tools such as SolidWorks preferred.
Adherence to integrity, ethics, fiscal responsibility, and commitment to the organization's mission.
Willingness to work additional hours when necessary to meet project demands.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing atmosphere, including full body mobility to bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to navigate restricted manufacturing areas and maintain professional hygiene and dress standards.
Capability to read and prepare business documents and conduct business communications by phone in sometimes noisy environments.
Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally to customer, supplier, and company sites via vehicle or airplane.
Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per insurance guidelines.
Legal authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.
