Project Manager - Industrial & Logistics

About the Role

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a respected project consultancy focusing on complex developments, particularly in the logistics, industrial, and technically challenging sectors. The role encompasses responsibility for all HOAI phases (1-9) with a base location in Frankfurt, Germany, complemented by flexible project-related travel across the Rhein-Main region and broader Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects comprehensively throughout all HOAI phases, from early concept and permitting through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Serve as the primary liaison among clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting high-quality standards.
• Oversee project program, cost, and risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Head procurement activities including tendering, contractor selection, and negotiation of contracts.
• Monitor construction activities onsite to ensure adherence to design, specifications, and relevant regulations.
• Build and sustain robust client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Produce and deliver periodic project progress reports to clients and senior stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' project management experience within Germany.
• Experience with logistics and industrial projects is highly advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HOAI, VOB, and German construction regulations.
• Demonstrated skills in risk management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
• Fluency in both German and English is essential.
• Must reside in or be eligible to work in Frankfurt or surrounding areas.

Additional Information

Location: Frankfurt, Germany with project-based travel flexibility.

Salary Range: Between €65,000 and €80,000 annually plus additional benefits, dependent on experience.
